Tribal organizations have contracted for a variety of health programs under P.L. 93-638. These include MCH, CHR, EMT, Alcoholism and Mental Health, as well as clinic operations. All these programs require an understanding of both the medical and health standards and issues which apply, as well as the contract administrative requirements applicable to the programs. This course will examine the standards - medical, health and administrative as well as legal - that the Tribe must meet. Also, the seminar will discuss the alternatives, options, and issues these programs face. This seminar is for all Tribal health program staff.
