Tribes are required by federal funding to establish procurement procedures which deal with contracting for construction services. This seminar will examine construction contracting under HUD, as well as other federal grantor agencies. Also, it will analyze the ' 638 amendments for construction, the laws which are applicable only to construction, and the impact of Federal Acquisition Regulations on the Tribe's activities. This training will provide a complete analysis (based on federal requirements) of the Tribal-Federal grant or contract relationship and the Tribal subcontract relationship for construction. This seminar is for all Tribal staff involved in construction.
