CONFLICT RESOLUTION AND MEDIATION

All work environments have the potential for "conflicts" to arise between employees. Tribal offices are no exception. Any location where there is more than one individual, conflicts can and do arise. Managers and supervisors need to be especially aware of these situations, since morale and absenteeism are affected by how these situations are handled. This seminar will include how to deal with the unhappy employee, identifying and resolving workplace conflict, improving communication skills, using positive and reinforcing language, defusing angry customers, and negotiation techniques and strategies. This seminar is for all Tribal employees, especially managers and supervisors.
